Why?

I guess this post is a part two to my day with the girls. ALL day long I heard "Why" from Rylee after everything I said. Even if it was something that didn't need answering, she was still asking why. I tried my hardest to come up with good answers for everything but ended up saying "I don't know why, it just is" a lot as well.
Soon after the girls were dropped off, Rylee asked me what Matt was doing. I told her that he was getting ready to go to work. She replied, "Oh he go to work like my daddy does", I said, "yes like your daddy". Her reply to that was priceless, "Boys go to work but girls, they don't." LOL it just cracked me up that at 3 years old she already thinks that all "boys" work and "girls" stay home to take care of the kids.

Later on, a less funny, more embarassing "why" occured when I was feeding Liam. I try to be discreet as possible around her when nursing yet she proceded to sit right next to me on the couch and had a concerned look on her face. She asked me what I was doing and I said, "feeding Liam". That of course led to more why's as to how in the world I could feed him without bottles under there! I just ended up telling her that God put milk there to feed baby Liam!

As tiring as it was, hearing "why" over and over again, it was fun trying to explain answers to everyday things I never think twice about.
